Online reporting
By logging-in with their user name and password, authorized PRAIS users will be directed to the relevant reporting template(s) and guidelines:
- Affected country Parties;
- Developed country Parties;
- Accredited inter-governmental organizations (IGOs) and United Nations agencies;
- Accredited civil society organizations (CSOs);
- Regional and Subregional Action Programmes (RAPs / SRAPs);
- The Global Environment Facility (GEF);
- The Global Mechanism (GM);
- The UNCCD Secretariat.
Registered PRAIS users may upload information at any time, while filling the template, and submit/authenticate the report in accordance with deadlines set by the secretariat. After the authentication/submission of the report within the reporting deadline set by the UNCCD secretariat, no additional on-line changes are allowed without prior consultation with the secretariat. Please note that there will be time dedicated to data quality checks after the submission deadline, during which ammendments can be made in consultation with the secretariat.
Submitted reports by Parties and their development partners constitute an important archive for UNCCD's implementation of The Strategy and serve as baseline and trend analysis for consideration by the CRIC. Hence the need for a cutoff date for submitted reports to prepare official documentation for CRIC.
